River’s private event venue is the ideal space for corporate and social events! From full day business meetings to birthday parties, baby showers and more, it is the perfect location for all. River can accommodate small private parties of 20, up to 80 at banquet rounds, and even larger parties of 150 for cocktail style events. Our talented staff will make sure that your special event is a success!
And our newest experience offering: Live comedy for your private event!
And we’re thrilled to offer a new experience for your next event: LIVE COMEDY, with the help of our friends at Brew Ha-Ha Comedy Club! River and Tequila Rio have been in the Comedy Business partnered with Comedy Craft Beer for almost a year. We host weekly comedy shows every Friday and Saturday featuring nationally touring headliners and the top regional acts in our private event rooms! In response to a number of inquiries from corporate entities we have put together a structure for events that would include cuisine from either River or Tequila Rio, followed by a private Comedy show customized to fit the needs of you and your guests for a different and highly memorable Holiday event. The Jungle Room (20 – 60 guests)
Best suited for: Cocktail parties, seated/buffet lunches and dinners, birthdays, showers, etc., plated lunches & dinners
The TR Cantina Room (25 – 90 guests)
Best suited for: social seated/buffet lunches and dinners, showers, birthdays etc., plated lunches & dinners
The Grand Tier @River (20 guests)
Best suited for: intimate social events, birthdays, corporate meetings

The CT River Outdoor Tent (50 – 200 guests)
Best For: Any type of large event, social or corporate, weddings, birthdays, reunions, etc.
Available from May 1st – November 1st & weather permitting! River Restaurant Group’s Private Event Tent is literally only a few feet away from the bank of the CT River!
